Rikel, one of two freshmen on the all-county first team, tallied 32 goals during her rookie season.

The Lady Chiefs other two first-team players are juniors Kelsey Carl and goalkeeper Kristy King.

Carl, a junior, was team captain and anchored one of the top defenses in the county. She also added three goals.

King tallied 11 shutouts during her junior year. She allowed 15 goals the entire season, averaging .7 goal per game.

Woodstock, coming off its first winning season in program history, also had four players earn all-county first-team honors.

Leading the Lady Wolverines was top goal-scorer Lindsay Boehmler, who is making her third appearance on the all-county team.

Midfielder Amy Porch, who signed a scholarship with Louisiana-Monroe, is making her second appearance on the all-county first team. She also is one of two seniors on the first team.

The other two Woodstock players on the all-county first team are junior midfielder Ali Meek and junior defender Alex Walker, who is making her second appearance on the first team.

Etowah's lone recipient on the first team is senior defender Lauren Dodd, who was selected to play in the Class AAAAA all-star game. She signed a scholarship with Columbus State.

Cherokee's first-team all-county player is leading scorer Erica Goldschmidt, and Creekview's Whitley Dover rounds out the first team. The younger sister of Emily Dover, Whitley tallied 31 goals her freshman year.
